Burlie Windfoot Duvall, III
Burlie Windfoot Duvall III, 33 of Concord, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026. He was the husband of Jennifer Duvall and loving father to BJ, Zane, and Adi.
Born in Washington, D.C., on December 17, 1992, he was the son of Burlie W. Duvall, Jr. and Tarnya S. Duvall. He was currently employed as a deputy with the Appomattox County Sheriff’s Office.
In addition to his wife, parents, and three children he is survived by a loving family. The family consists of nine siblings, Laura Welk and Tim, Shyetia Duvall, Darion Duvall, Keyanna Duvall, Thomas Duvall, Dyllionn Clarke and Stephanie, Nicholas Frazier, Nathan Frazier, and Melanie Frazier; mother-in-law, Debra Butler; maternal grandmother, Shirlene Flowers and Manuel; maternal grandfather, Clinton Ceasar and Carolyn; nine nieces and nephews; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a large community of friends made up of Appomattox Sheriff’s Department family including two Appomattox officers in training, Nathan Lass and Blake Cash, Sunset Ridge Neighborhood, and Centra Hospital staff and friends.
He was preceded in death by father-in-law, James V. Butler; and paternal grandparents, Burlie W. Duvall, Sr. and Gertrude B. Duvall.
A funeral service will be held 12pm, Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Thomas Road Baptist Church with Appomattox County Sherrif’s Office Chaplin Jonathan A. Watson Sr. officiating. Burial will take place in Maryland.
