Paul Gordan Crews

Paul Gordan Crews, 81, of Appomattox, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. He was the husband of the late Betty Grace Fields Crews. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Born on June 7, 1945, in Ipswich, England, he was the son of the late Warren Garland Crews and Primrose Ella Jay Crews. He was a member of Jubilee Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Paul operated Crews Garage for 20 years and Paul Crews Excavating. He also drove for Pepsi Cola for 20 years. He loved fishing, gardening and farming.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Crews Dill and husband, Richard and Vicki Lynn Crews; two grandchildren, Brett Dill and wife, Kaitlyn and Lani D. Morris and husband, Coty; five great-grandchildren, Ayven Dill, Oliver Morris, Layton Morris, Rowan Morris, and Brennan Dill; brother, Daniel “Tucker” Crews and wife, Linda; three sisters, Ann C. Gray, Shirley C. Witt, and Mary Crews; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David Crews.
A funeral service will be held 11am, Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Jubilee Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Childress and Pastor Derek Keiser officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
