Margaret Nolen Sowder

Margaret Nolen Sowder, 58, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at her home. She was born January 3, 1963, in Patrick County, Virginia to the late James Nolen and Peggy Ann Harrison Nolen. She was a member of New Hope Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed talking, spending time with family and friends, praying and crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Sowder; daughter, Amanda McAdams; step-daughter, Anna-Leigh Steadman; sons, Jamie McAdams (Andrea), Jesse McAdams; step-son, Jonathan Sowder; sisters, Wanda Gray, Shannon Marshall (C. J.); brother, Otis Bowman (Vickie); and grandchildren, Whitney, Mallory, Hali, Brayden, Draden and step-granddaughter, Mia.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at 1:00 P. M. at New Hope Church of the Brethren. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
