Edna Marie Breedlove Baker

EDNA MARIE BREEDLOVE BAKER, 91, of Wytheville, VA, and formerly of Bland, VA, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Carrington Place at Rural Retreat. She was born on February 21, 1931 in Bland County, VA, the daughter of the late Amos Rel & Dolly May Durham Breedlove.
Edna enjoyed gardening and canning. She was a seamstress and enjoyed cross-stitch. She enjoyed playing Rook and Bingo. She was an excellent cook. She loved yard sales. She enjoyed being in the country and loved  animals. Edna was a loving mother  and grandmother and will be missed by those who loved her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Dean Baker, her brother, Kenneth Breedlove and her sisters, Virginia Lester and Dixie Blankenship.
Left to cherish her memory are her son & daughter-in-law, James Colin & Florence Baker; her daughters & sons-in-law, Connie Faircloth, Brenda & Barry Havens and Linda & David Bailey; her grandchildren, Drema (John ) Church, Sharon (David) Miller, Laura (Ronald) Belford, Jennifer Bivens (Glenna), Jo Faircloth, Bobby Baker, Jr., Shannon (Tammy) Havens, Ashley (Tremaine) Bennett, Jason Hagy, Kari (Josh) Havens,  Lee (Gabrielle) Bailey, Katie (Billy Hagerman) Bailey, and Brandon (Brittany) Bailey; her great-grandchildren, Autumn (Josh) Conklan, Logan Teany, Kaitya Baker, Grant Belford, Madelyn Belford, Brandon Faircloth, Caitlin Faircloth, A.J. Faircloth, Dellaney Faircloth, Gage Baker, William Baker, Austin Havens, Isabella Havens, Amarrah Carter-Bennett, Dylan Havens, Jacob Havens, Carter Bailey, Dakota Bailey, Taylor Bailey, River Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Jaxon Bailey, Olivia Cregger, Isaiah Bailey, Sophia Hagerman and Everleigh Hagerman; her great-great grandchild, Mia Conklan; her sister, Hazel Kirby; and several nieces, nephews, special friends and extended family, too many to list.
A graveside service is planned for Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Mechanicsburg Cemetery with Medi Hospice Chaplain Robbie Vance officiating.
