Aleigha Angle

October 4, 2004 - June 18, 2024

Aleigha Lashay Angle, age 19, of Covington, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from injuries obtained in a heart wrenching automobile accident that took her from us all. Aleigha loved with all her heart, she brightened up any room with her smile, and her laugh was so contagious. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and being “Auntie LeeLee”. She was a recent graduate of Alleghany High School where her passion was cheerleading. She also attended Central Advent Christian Church.

She was proceeded in death by her great aunt, Velda Craft; aunt, Sharon Hoke, and grandmother, Leighanda Matheny.

Aleigha is survived by her loving parents Allen & Tonya Angle; her siblings Bryceson Ryder (Emelyn Ryder), Lyunden Ryder, Davison Ryder, Brooklyn & Trevor (Ella “Lala”) Quantz, Kayla & Gavin (Kaidan & Kenzo) Hunter, Chelsea Tucker, Alexis Tucker (Kalisea & Zayvion Heighter), Kenneth “Trey” Tucker, Austin & Sierra Angle, and Daniel Angle; grandparents James & Zettie Jennings, Shawn Douglas, Kenneth Matheny; a very close friend, Zoe Berryman and many other extended family & friends.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. The family will have a celebration of life for family and friends on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Jackson River Technical Center, Child Care Program, 105 Country Club Lane, Covington, Virginia 24426.

The Senior Adoption Project will be hosting a candle light visual immediately following the service at the outside Historic Masonic Amphitheater in Clifton Forge. Everyone is welcome to attend.
