Alex Michael Marshall
Alex Michael Marshall, 55 of Salem, Va., passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at his home.
Alex was born on Friday, December 19, 1969, in Lompoc, Calif., to the late Vada Nadine Ervin and Michael Stephen Marshall. He grew up in the Fredericksburg area, where he attended Stafford High School. He was a volunteer firefighter, paramedic, phlebotomist, and dialysis technician before obtaining his Licensed Practice Nursing Diploma in 2009. Alex had a passion and dedication for healthcare and especially enjoyed caring for the elderly in various LTC facilities as an LPN for the majority of his career.
He is survived by his only son, Landon Scott Marshall, along with his mother, Kimberly Marshall of Roanoke, Va. Also left to cherish his memory include his sister, Shelli Brown, and her daughters, Lindsay, Chelsea, and Rachael; as well as great-nephews, one great-niece, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Alex was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast who loved to ride his Harley on the open roads while listening to his favorite band, Kiss, and 80s music. Alex was a true Virginia Tech fanatic and enjoyed following VT players through their careers and the NFL. He was a Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr fan. Alex loved all the things related to Snoopy and Yoda.
