Alfred Tommy Peoples

ALFRED TOMMY PEOPLES, 81, of White Gate, VA, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Lewis Gale Medical Center – Salem. Tommy was born April 9, 1941 in White Gate, VA, the son of the late Joseph & Signora Peoples.

Tommy enjoyed his farm in White Gate. He worked at Klopman Mills for many years and retired from Pulaski Furniture.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Larkin & Signora Barner Hill Peoples, his brothers, Garnett, Ralph, George, Edward, Oliva and Robert Peoples and his sister, Sarah Redd.

Left to cherish his memory are numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors and his aunts, Nancy Johnson, Constance Washington, Betty Cook and Elizabeth Hill.

Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Rev. David Parks and his niece, Carolyn Prim officiating. Burial will follow in the Peoples Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until service time, 12:00 P.M.
