Alice Unroe

Mrs. Alice Guth Unroe, age 90, of Covington, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at her residence. She was the wife of the late William C. Unroe.
Mrs. Unroe was born March 22, 1934 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Earl and Margaret Crawford Guth. She had been employed as a data entry specialist for the Virginia ABC Board for a number of years before her retirment.
Mrs. Unroe is survived by a number of nieces and nephews including Margaret Martin and Robert Gibson; a number of great nieces and nephews including, Taylar Peters, Rachel Martin, Erin Martin and Bradley Martin; her brother, Dr. Jim Guth; and her special partner, Kenneth Simpson.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Unroe is preceded in death by her brother, Garnett Guth and sisters, Rosemary Aber, Betty Humphries, Scharlotte Gibson and Lillian Rose.
