Allen Maxwell Farabee

Allen Maxwell Farabee of Roanoke VA, passed away onFriday,March 10, 2023 in Roanoke VA at age 76.Funeral service will be held at Simpson Funeral Homeon March 18, 2023at 4 PMwith Reverend Troy Mays officiating.

Allen was born in Baltimore MD to Maxwell Farabee and Virginia O. Farabee. He attended Hampton High School and graduated in 1964. He served in the Marine Corps from 1965-1970 and was a Vietnam Veteran. Allen retired after 40 plus years at the Department of Motor Vehicles as a HearingOfficer.

Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Maxwell Farabee, Virginia O. Farabee; sister,Carole Heil.Allen is survived by his sister Elizabeth (Libby) Martin;daughters,Jennifer Oshiro of Levittown, NY, Natalie Farabee of Richmond, VA and Stepson Toby Cahoon of Roanoke, VA.He had five grandchildren, Ashley Oshiro, Nicholas Oshiro, Kristopher Holliday, Kristionnah Holliday and Kianna Holliday.

He will be greatly missed by his family. He was a kindand generous man.

The family would like to thank the Management Teamat Gold’s Gym and specifically JBoudreaux, The Doctors, nurses andstaffat Carilion Memorial Hospital for the kindness and care Allen received.
