Alonzo Matthew Becks

Alonzo Matthew Becks, Sr., born on October 21, 1948, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Becks; mother, Helen Becks; brother, Russell Becks; loving companion, Carolyn Drew; and grandson Dámese Martin Hartman.

He is survived by his son, Alonzo Becks, Sr. and wife Dartonia Parker; daughters, Darlene Drew and husband Chucky, and Tiffany Hartman Stroud and husband Reggie; sister, Delores Jimenez and husband Juan; and numerous nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Alonzo loved football and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a loyal employee of K&W for over 30 years. Alonzo was a patient man and enjoyed his time at home listening to music, watching TV, and cooking.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 9:00 am until 10:15 am. A graveside service will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park at 10:30 am.
