Alvin Wayne Williams

It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that we announce Alvin Wayne Williams, 73, of Midlothian, Va. passed away on July 30th, 2026.

Born on October 24th, 1952, Alvin’s life was a testament to his fun-loving and easy-going nature. Alvin loved to tell jokes, make people laugh, and spread smiles and laughter. Most knew Alvin by his loving nicknames, “Al”, or “Lucky Rooster”.

Alvin worked 35 years as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.

Alvin is survived by brothers; Donald A. Pitts, of Lynchburg, Va., sisters; Alesia M. Williams, of Alta Vista, Va., and Carla A. Williams, of Appomattox, Va, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, James Wilson Williams, Sr. and Nellie Hazel Litchford Williams, as well as his brother, Cecil C. Williams, and sister, Angie W. Cash.
