Ametta Rosetta Mitchell, 33, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022. She was born in Eden, North Carolina to Betty Ann Dodson Mitchell and the late George Rucker Mitchell. Ametta was a member of Gethsemane Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Mary B. Mitchell; maternal grandparents, James E. and Laura Etta Dodson; niece, Janae McLaughlin. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Talia J. Burgess, Tanya S. Burgess, Tamara S. Burgess, and Akayla M. Pass; sister, Loretta J. Dodson.
