Amy Brown Gilbert
Amy Nicole Brown Gilbert, 54, wife of Robert “Rob” Gilbert, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026. She was the daughter of Ed Brown and the late Judy Miller Brown. She was also preceded in death by Gloria Beckner and Chris Beckner.
In addition to her endless caregiver and husband of 23 years, Robert “Rob” Gilbert, Amy will be missed and remembered by her two greatest blessings Hunter Gilbert and Tanner Gilbert, who taught her more about life than she could ever teach them; her father, Edwyn Brown – “forever a daddy’s girl”; her brother Mark Brown (Cindy); brother-in-law, David Beckner (Tracy); her four-legged companion, Eli; as well as numerous other family and friends.
The family would like to make special mention of a dear friend, Dalton Close who was her “Battle Buddy” as they both faced their cancer treatments.
In accordance with Amy’s wishes there will be no service at this time. A gathering will be organized for a later date and announced on social media.
In lieu of flowers Amy has requested that memorial donations be made to Orchard Hills Church Day Care or to the charity of your choice.
To know Amy was to know her as a doer, and a helper. Someone who “showed up” and fought for “her people” without expecting anything in return. She loved fiercely and gave her all.
