Amy Pauline Childress

Ms. Amy Pauline Childress, age 58 of Boonville, passed away Monday, August 26, 2024 at The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 16, 1965 in Surry County to the late Odell Spencer Childress and the late Thelma Pauline Mitchell Childress.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters Natalia Cortez, Tabatha Delgado, Magdalena Martinez, and Destiny Martinez; her grandchildren Emiliano Chavez, Lorenzo Chavez, Ariana Cortez, and Carlos Cortez; and brothers Clay Childress and Randy Childress.

Amy is preceded in death by her sisters Rita Childress, Vickie Childress, and Sandra Childress and her brothers Wendell Childress and Mickey Childress.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Services for Ms. Childress will begin at 11:00 AM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev. Terry Coe officiating. Burial will follow in the Second Chance Church Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Childress family.
