Angie Kay Jackson

Angie Kay Jackson, 72, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at her residence. She was born on February 6, 1951, in Virginia to the late John Andrew Johnston and Gladys Johnston Riddle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Shawn Wayne Smith, and her brothers, Wayne Johnston, and Dale Johnston.

Mrs. Jackson graduated from Drewry Mason High School. She worked at Bassett Walker and at King’s as a cake decorator.

She is survived by her husband, Rufus Dwight Jackson; son, Shannon Smith (Ruby); stepson, Mike Jackson (Michelle); step-daughter, Angie Eanes (Tim); grandchildren, Caillie Smith, Morgan Smith, Devin Smith, Emma Smith, and Gavin Smith; step-grandson, Bentley; and her great-grandson, Lincoln Smith.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Donovant Family Cemetery with Pastor Dean White officiating.
