Ann Louise Painter Yopp

Ann Louise Painter Yopp, 78, of Salem passed away on October 28, 2025.

A native of West Virginia she was the daughter of Luther and Vada Mae Painter, both deceased. She loved to sew, craft, and crochet. She loved making afghans, blankets, purses, and stuffed animals for family and friends. Louise was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and her presence will be missed greatly.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Monica Peery and husband Richard and their son, Cade Peery; her son, Tom Sheppard, Nicole, and their children Lily, Lola, Thomas, Zach and Danica; her son, Tony Sheppard and his daughter, Olivia Sheppard; four sisters; four brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lewis Gale Medical Center SICU staff, doctors and nurses for their excellent care and attention for Louise.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice.
