Ann Wilson Culler

Ann Wilson Culler, 95, of Martinsville, VA entered her eternal home with her daughter and special friend, Karen Carter on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Sovah Health of Martinsville & Henry County. She was born on July 10, 1931, in Virginia to the late Babe Hodnett and Lucy Weaver Hodnett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Vincent L. Wilson; second husband, Melvin Culler; daughter, Nancy Ann Wilson; sister, Virginia Shoemaker; and her brothers, Randolph Hodnett, Ben Hodnett, Curtis Hodnett, and Phillip Hodnett.

She attended Chatmoss Baptist Church and worked for Martinsville City School for thirty-five years as a cafeteria worker. Ann was a devoted mother who loved her family, friends and her special friends at Barrows Mill Apartment.

Surviving is her daughter, Brenda Wilson Russell; sisters, Barbara Nelson and Dorothy Perdue; brother, Gerald Hodnett; also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Roselawn Burial Park with Pastor Rodney Houston officiating.
