Anthony Lee Jarrett, age 61, passed away peacefully at home on August 21, 2026. He was born on
March 27, 1965, to the late Julian Edward Grindstaff and Janice Lee Jarrett. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his aunt, Annis Mize.
Anthony proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years and served as a chaplain on his last ship. He worked as a truck driver later in life. After retiring, Anthony served as a chaplain with Southern Care Hospice.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, JoBeth Spotts Jarrett, and daughter, Erin Joyce (Andrew).
A memorial service for Anthony will be held Thursday September 3, 2026, at 2 P.M.
with Pastor Noel Naff officiating.
