April Nester Barts

April Nester Barts, 46, entered into her heavenly home on October 29, 2022. She was born in Danville, VA, on April 18, 1976 to Maxine Easley Nester and the late Kenneth Ray Nester Sr.

April was a member of Blairs Baptist Church and worked as a lab technician at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters; Cambell Grace Barts of Sutherlin, VA, Taylor Rae Barts of Sutherlin, VA, brother; Kenny Ray Nester of Gulfport, Mississippi, sister; Karen Nester Hayes (Jeff) of Blairs, VA, nieces; Kiersten Hayes, Kennedy Nester.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her nephew; Colby Reed Nester.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 2:00PM at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel with Pastor John Lester officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel. A private graveside service will be held. The family will also receive friends at the residence of Maxine Nester.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Blairs Baptist Church or Pittsylvania County Pet Center.
