Arnold Robert Fitzpatrick
Arnold Robert Fitzpatrick, known as "Bobby" and "Bob", age 60 of Ringgold, Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025. He was born on April 5, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Raymond Dale Fitzpatrick and Sue Fleming.
Bob faced many challenges in life with quiet strength and resilience. In his later years, he was on disability, yet he continued to live each day with humor, curiosity, and love for those closest to him.
Bob shared 41 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Lisa Fitzpatrick, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. A dedicated husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Bob’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family—especially his beloved granddaughters.
He was a free spirit with an incredible sense of humor, always ready to share stories and laughter. Bob loved music, especially Pink Floyd, whose songs often reflected his thoughtful and creative nature. He also enjoyed playing video games and exploring that world, learning how to create his own ideas and experiences within it.
Bob will be deeply missed by his wife, Lisa Fitzpatrick; his son, Robert Fitzpatrick and daughter-in-law Rebecca Fitzpatrick; his daughter, Jennifer Fitzpatrick; and his cherished granddaughters, Olivia Laguna and Sabrina Fitzpatrick. He is also survived by his sisters, Kelly O’Neill, Helen Winner, and Sasha Fitzpatrick; his stepfather, James Fleming; stepsister Lorre Fleming; and stepbrothers Chris Fleming and Mike Fleming.
He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will forever treasure his warmth, humor, and generosity.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Dale Fitzpatrick; his mother, Sue Fleming; and his stepmother, Page Fitzpatrick.
Bob will be remembered for his humor, his free spirit, and the love he shared so freely with those around him. His laughter and light will continue to shine through the many lives he touched. “Shine on, you crazy diamond.”
