Brenda Kay Billings Dent

BRENDA KAY BILLINGS DENT, 63, of Bastian, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born April 3, 1959 in Mullins, WV, the daughter of the late Robert Arnold (“James”) & Charlene Flora Vanhoy Billings.
Brenda was a strong Christian, with “Pentecostal Fire,” who enjoyed working in the church and doing mission work. She spent her life as a caregiver and provider, devoting her time and attention to everyone else’s needs.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Danny Ray Dent; her sons & daughters-in-law, Michael & Yolanda Dent and Matthew & Danielle Dent all of Bastian, VA; her grandchildren, Izzabella Radford & fiancé Skylar, Utah, Victoria Perry & fiancé  R.J., Wytheville, VA, Desiree Godsey & James Campbell, Walterboro, SC, and Kaiden Dent, Bastian, VA; her great-grandchildren, Benson, Lennox, Haven, Jayla, Mya and Ava; her brothers & sisters-in-law, Ronnie Billings, Kegley, WV, Douglas & Carol Billings, Bremen, KY, Ross & Marie Billings and Stephen Billings, all of Spanishburg, WV, and Robert & Linda Billings, Kegley, WV;  her sisters & brother-in-law, her twin Belinda & Otis Akers, Vance, AL, and Pam Hull, Spanishburg, WV.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bastian Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Dennis McLemore officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time, 2:00 P.M. Per Brenda’s wishes, she will be cremated after the services.
