Thomas Penn

Thomas Penn, 80, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away April 29, 2022 at SOVAH of Martinsville. He was born April 25,1942 in Martinsville to the late George and Nellie Harper Penn. He had worked for Pillowtex for over 20 years. He was a member of the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church and served on the Culinary Committee, and Usher Board. He liked to play cards and loved to spend time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Cathleene Brown, Harriett Waller, Ella Brown and Sue Butler; brothers, Joe Penn, Tom Harper and James Penn, Sr.

He is survived by his son, Calvin Penn; and five grandchildren.

His service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Wright Funeral Service at 2:30 PM. The family will receive friends for one-half hour before the service.
