Basil Edgar Linville

Basil Edgar Linville, 93, of Salem, went to be with the Lord at home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
He retired in 1990 from Salem Frame Company.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis; and daughter, Joyce.
Surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Charles Jonas, of Salem.
The family would like to say thanks to Lewis Gale Hospital that took care of him, Kindred Home Health and at Friendship Health and Rehab Center and also Good Samaritan Hospice for their help during this time.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Faith Fellowship Church of God of Prophecy, Salem, Va.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the church.  Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Camp Lowman Cemetery, 11738 Leesville Rd., Lynch Station, VA.   24571
