David Carl Dalton

DAVID CARL DALTON, 77, of the Kimberling Community of Bland, VA, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his home. He was born December 16, 1944  in Bland, VA, the son of James Jethro & Ruby Lee Agee Dalton.
Carl was a master carpenter and enjoyed sharing his knowledge by teaching carpentry and wood burning. He took pride in his work and was considered a perfectionist. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved all children and his family was his world. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents James Jethro & Ruby Lee Agee Dalton, and infant brother and a nephew, Gary Dalton.
Left to cherish his memory are his brothers & sisters-in-law, James & Clara Dalton and Donnie & Ann Dalton; his sister, Mary Ellen Stanley; nieces and nephews, Angela Riley, Matt Dalton, Andrew Dalton, Caleb Dalton and Caitlin Meadows; several great-nieces and great-nephews; a special friend and caregiver, Shirley Cox; and several special cousins, neighbors and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022  at 4:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with Pastor Tom Maurer officiating. The family will receive friends form 2:00 P.M. until service time, 4:00 P.M. Graveside committal service will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at the Dalton Family Cemetery.
