Elizabeth Myers Bryant

January 22, 1930 - May 30, 2022

Elizabeth Myers Bryant, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother; sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully into God’s arms on the evening of May 30, 2022.
She was born on a very snowy morning on January 22, 1930 in Hoges Chapel, Virginia.  She was the feisty sister to eight brothers and sisters.  She was a devoted wife to her two husbands; and she had an unconditional love for her sons and daughter.  Elizabeth loved her four granddaughters deeply.  She was passionate about sharing her family history and stories so they can be passed on through the generations to follow.  Her legacy will continue through her seven great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; and over 30 nieces and nephews down the family line.  She was the matriarch of the family and will be greatly missed, yet her legacy will live on for decades to come.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Delbert Sarver Sr. and Lura Cumbee Sarver; her husbands, Haven Myers and Britt Bryant; her two sons, Billy Myers, and Wayne Myers; her granddaughter, Beth Myers; her brothers, Hampton Sarver, Gene Sarver, and her precious “Little Larry” Sarver; and a sister, Dolly S. Phelps.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn M. Cumbee (Lee); her granddaughters, Michelle L. Muckey (Ross), Tammy Kidd, and Jessica M. Akers (Eric); her brother, D.R. Sarver (Jean; her sisters, Elise, S. Mills, Shirley Ayers, Mary Sarver; her grand-puppy Coco; and grand-Kitty 66.
