Mary Ruth Davis Compton

Mary Ruth Davis Compton, 91, of, Horsepasture, Virginia passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022. She was born April 13, 1931, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Thomas Vance Davis and Sallie Dimple Perdue Davis.

She was a member of Horsepasture Christian Church and was employed by American Furniture where she held the position of Accounts Receivable Manager.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Compton.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Dee Compton, and Bonita Harmel; grandson, Austin Harmel.

A Graveside Service will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 3:00 PM, at Horsepasture Christian Church Cemetery.
