David Austin Dickerson

David Austin Dickerson, 78 of Huddleston, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Autumn Care of Altavista. He was born on Saturday, August 28, 1943 in Lynchburg, a son of the late Leonard Gordon Dickerson and Mary Elizabeth Austin Dickerson.

He was retired from G. E. as a security guard.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Gay Heptinstall Dickerson; a sister, Sue Tucker; a, brother, Leonard W. Dickerson as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 AM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Mentow Baptist Church and a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Murphy & Rev. Rick Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery.
