Diane Carter Kossow

Diane Carter Kossow, 67, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 6, 2022.  She was preceded by her father, Edward Carter; daughter, Shanua Janney; and a sister, Peggy Carter.
Mrs. Kossow worked as a batender at Sandy''s.
Surviving are her husband, David Kossow; children, Barry (Ericka) Martin, Jr., Amy (Gary) Martin; mother, Bernice Ferguson Carter; grandchildren, Steve Smith, Kirklend (Holly) Smith, Jessie Stultz, Collin Maartin, Jadin Martin, Ian Martin, Mace Martin, Amanda Baker, and Haven Janney; great grandchildren, Koda Ferguson-Janney, Eddy Smith, Addie Baker, and Gentry Baker; brothers, Ricky (Katherine) Carter, and Mark (Susan) Carter.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Blue Ridge Cancer Care.
A celebration of Diane's life will be held 3:00 p..m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  540-366-0707
