Ralph Wayne Robinson, Sr.

Ralph Wayne Robinson, Sr., 80, of Appomattox, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Harriette Harvey Robinson.
Born in South Carolina, on July 9, 1942, he was the son of the late William Wayne Robinson and Elsie Effler Robinson. He moved to Virginia when he was six years old. Ralph was in the Marine Reserves, retired from Limitorque with over 35 years of service, and was a lifetime outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his two sons, Ralph W. “Robbie” Robinson, Jr., and “Tommy” Thomas C. Robinson and wife, Sue both of Appomattox; four grandchildren, Andrea Nicole Rousseau and husband, Richard, R.D. McAllister, Jr., Page Glavas and husband, Ryan, and Kenneth Corbett, Jr. and wife, Mary; seven great-grandchildren, Ayden Almanza, Elijah Rousseau, Briahna Rousseau, Avery Mae Corbett, Reid David Corbett, Grayson Rousseau, and Xander Glavas; four sisters, Barbara Rush, Katie White, Peggy Smith, and Nadine Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Erma Leffers and a brother, Ted Robinson.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Harvey Family Cemetery with Pastor Ron Moore officiating.
