Rodney Edward "Bud" Wray

Rodney “Bud” Wray, 75, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022. He was a volunteer with the Red Cross Disaster Team and volunteered with the Mount Pleasant Rescue Squad for over 15 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Luther and Louise Wray; sisters, Nona Hatcher, Oleen Hatcher, and Mary Frances Hatcher, and wife, Karen Sue Wray.

Surviving family includes his wife, Karen Patton Wray; daughter, Ginger Seay (Chip); stepsons, Richard Lockhart and Kevin Patton (Linda); stepdaughter, Kim Rosenvold; his grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton with Rev. Jeff Gardner officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Mount Pleasant Rescue Squad.
