Junior Wayne Gentry

Junior “Wayne” Gentry, 52, of Danville, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022. He was born November 16, 1969 in Danville, to Diane Gentry. Junior was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Wayne Roach; sister, Lee Ann Carter; and brother, Shannon Gentry.

He attended Dan River High School, was of the Baptist faith, and had been employed in construction work for 30 plus years. He loved listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams, Jr. music; he loved his dog, Daisy, and enjoyed working in the yard.

In addition to his mother, Junior is survived by his daughter, Kayla Michelle Roach; sisters, Teresa Carroll (Jon) and Lisa Watson (Spike); and brother, Kenny Gentry (Cindy).
