Alice Faye Thornhill Morgan

November 11, 1941 - February 12, 2024

Alice Faye Thornhill Morgan, 82, of Appomattox passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at her home. She was the wife of Charles R. Morgan for 62 years.
Born in Gladstone, Va., on November 11, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Paul Alexander Thornhill and Pauline Owen Thornhill. Faye loved antiques and doll collecting. She worked many years with Francisco Auction Company as a bookkeeper.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Robert Morgan and wife, Joan of Appomattox, and Rhonda Sia and husband, Steve of Cave Creek, Arizona; six grandchildren, NinaMarie O’Brien and husband, Collins, Brandon Morgan all of Appomattox, and Alden, Morgan, Emory, and Greylin Sia all of Cave Creek, Arizona; three great-grandchildren, Brylee, Nash, and Kolly of Appomattox; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Morris and June Thornhill both of Appomattox; brother-in-law, Dave Morgan of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillie Sperry and Mildred Mills; and two brothers, Paul Thornhill, Jr. and Donald W. Thornhill, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Liberty Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Art Cavanaugh officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
