Kathy T. McCormick Stanley

Kathy T. McCormick, 67, of Gladstone passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at her residence.
Born on July 30, 1956, in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas McCormick, Sr. and Mamie Evelyn Woody McCormick.
She is survived by her special friend and former spouse, John Dunavant of Dundas, VA; her daughter, Wendy Dawn Terwilliger and husband, Andrew of Moyock, NC; two stepchildren, Zachary Dunavant of Homestead, FL, and Benjamin Dunavant of Victoria, VA; three grandsons, SSG Austin Sturtz and wife, Chelsea of Newport News, Ryan Philbates of Hayes, VA, and Logan Terwilliger of Moyock, NC; one great-granddaughter, Aria Sturtz of Newport News; four siblings, Donnie McCormick and wife, Crystal of Appomattox, Kenneth McCormick and wife, Nancy of Lynchburg, Debbie McCormick of Gladstone, and Mollie McCormick and friend, Thomas of Appomattox; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; and her two cats, Mispy and Oscar.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Thomas “W.T.” McCormick, Jr.
