Ellen McCoy McFadden Jones

Ellen McCoy McFadden Jones, 79, of Pamplin, VA passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at her residence. She was the wife of Jerry Lynn Jones.
Born on October 21, 1944, in Appomattox, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Daniel McFadden and Rachel Virginia O’Brien McFadden. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. Ellen was retired from Stackpole/Carbone Lorraine in Farmville, VA.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Robert McCoy and Renae of Appomattox, Teresa Leeper and Brian of Farmville, and Jerry Daniel Jones of Pamplin; nine grandchildren, Billy Etherton and Cheryl, Derek Etherton all of Farmville, Jennifer Etherton and Nick of Maryland, Cody Etherton and Bre of Cartersville, Rachel Narduzzo and Nick, Morgan Leeper all of Texas, Brenden McCoy and Brittany of Lynchburg, Zane McCoy and fiancée, Hailey Joseph, and Logan McCoy and Trinity all of Appomattox; seven great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Dorothy McFadden of Pamplin.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Danny, Wayne, and Bobby McFadden.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Friday, April 12, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Childress officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Thursday, April 11 at Robinson Funeral Home.
