Glenn Arthur McIntosh
Glenn Arthur McIntosh, 88, of Pamplin passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at his residence. He was the husband of Sandra Roach McIntosh.
Born on May 22, 1936, in Appomattox County, he was the son of the late Ernest Ivory McIntosh and Nina Mae Arrington McIntosh. He was a member of Rocks Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was an active member of the building and grounds committee. He began his career as owner of Glenn A. McIntosh Drywall Company. Glenn retired as a supervisor from J.E. Jamerson Construction. He enjoyed helping people in the community with home repairs and delivering firewood.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters Teresa M. Elder and husband, Barry, and Melinda M.S. Brown and husband, David; five grandchildren, Adrian E. McPeak, and husband, Brian, Jodi E. Simpson and husband, Christopher, Cary E. Reynolds and husband, Dustin, Vanessa S. Tucker and husband, Scott, and Glenn Bradley Smith and wife, Jordan; and 15 great-grandchildren, Ava Nichole McPeak, Julia Wilkes Simpson, Joseph Arthur Simpson, Laurel Atlee Reynolds, Pyper Brielle Reynolds, Owen Scott Tucker, Lawson McIntosh Tucker, Afton Marie Tucker, Bennett Rhodes Smith, Amelia Jo Smith, Charlotte Bradley Smith, Holland Gray Smith, Hazel Jade Smith, Lennon Gayle Smith, and Beaufort Holden Smith.
He is survived by one sister, Edith McCann and was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Burrell, and one brother, Robert W. McIntosh.
A memorial service will be held 5 pm, Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Rocks Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Lee officiating.
