Anna Jane Bryant

April 11, 1939 - June 4, 2025

Anna Jane Bryant, 86, of Appomattox, VA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior early in the morning, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Jessie James Bryant, Jr.
Born in McAlester, OK, on April 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Madge Davis Lewis and Tom Lewis. Anna loved her children and great-grandchildren and was a devoted member of Red Oak Baptist Church, serving on the Kitchen Committee. She enjoyed flowers and word search puzzles.
She is survived by her three children, Ronald King and wife, Theresa, Kimberly K. McCormack, and Jackie K. Drinkard and husband, Denny; nine grandchildren, Tori, Kenny, Tiffany, Ashley, D.J., Travis, Brianna, Cody, and Candice; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters. She was one of eleven siblings, and she was the last living one.
A funeral will be held at 11 am, Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Red Oak Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Bud Reid. Burial will follow in Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
