Martha Jean Rodgers Peacock

Martha Jean Rodgers Peacock of Gainesville, Virginia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on June 20, 2026, at the age of 60.
Born on September 25, 1965, in Memphis, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Kathy Sneed and Fred Rodgers.
Jean met her husband, Michael Scott Peacock Sr. when she attended Auburn University. They married in December of 1983, and together they shared 43 wonderful years.
Jean loved being a mom. She poured her whole heart into her three children, supporting every new sport and interest they had. Her fondest memories are those spent with her family near and far; beach trips spent laughing and seeing her two grandsons experience the ocean for the first time; and Jean loved the Lord her God and would love to share the truth of His Word with all she met. The love and peace of the Lord was her stronghold and can be for all who love and trust in Him.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Peacock Sr.; her three children Michael Peacock Jr., Lauren (Phillip) Martin, and Kate Peacock; her two grandsons, Grayson Martin and Levi Martin; and her sister Cheryl Lynn Rodgers.
A memorial service will be held at Robinson Funeral Home at 2 pm, on Friday, June 26, 2026, officiated by Pastor Adam White, followed by a visitation with family and friends.
