Charlie Mayberry Jr.

Charlie “Frog” Mayberry Jr., 79, of Concord, VA, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2026, at his home. He was the loving husband of Margie Mae Johnson Mayberry for 61 years.
Born in Campbell County, VA, on July 23, 1946, he was the son of the late Mildred Cyrus and Charlie Mayberry Sr. Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from BWXT after working as a security guard for many years. Charlie was also a lifetime member of the Concord Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Jeff Mayberry and wife, Sally S.; one granddaughter, Katelynn Mayberry; two sisters, Brenda Hancock, Pam Maschal and Jan; one brother, Jody Mayberry and Jennie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Chad Harris. Burial will follow in the Mayberry Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
