Evelyn Guy Dooley

Evelyn Guy Dooley, 97, of Troutville went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 19, 2019.  She was preceded by her husband, Clyde Dooley; brothers, Boots, and Paul Guy; and a sister, Mildred Hidey
Evelyn was a member of Troutville Baptist Church and attended Faith Fellowship in Wirtz.
Surviving are a brother, Roy J. Guy; children, David Edwin Dooley, Sr. and wife Virginia of Kingsport, Tenn., Diana D. Simmons and special friend Steve Thomas of Hardy; grandchildren, Lisa Miller and husband Rodney of Kernersville, NC, David Dooley, Jr. and wife Heather of Kingsport, Tenn; Gary Williams, Jr. and wife Kaye of Roanoke; Jeffrey Williams and special friend Karen of Wirtz, Elizabeth Estep and husband Matthew of Mount Jackson; great grandchildren, Mitch Williams and wife Marianne, Logan Miller, Kohl Dooley, Branson, Garrett, Evan and Luke Estep, Marissa Miller, Kaden Dooley, and Taylor Rieken-Dooley; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Gary Hoffman.  Interment will follow in Troutville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m Friday at Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
