Doris Blake Brugh

Doris Blake Brugh, 94, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 1, 2019.  She was preceded by her husband of 75 years, Walter C.Brugh, Sr.; daughter, Vivian Kaye Stockton; an infant grandson; one sister and two brothers.
At the time of her death Doris was a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church and was a Charter member of Rosalind Hills Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Walter C. Brugh, Jr., Steven B. (Debra) Brugh; grandchildren, Kristen N. (Alex Wood) Brugh, Laura B. (Kevin) Cloud, Landon K (Kelly) Brugh, Avery L. (Kelly) Brugh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their thanks to Debbie Tingler for her many kind deeds, acts of care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Simpson Funeral Home.  www.simpsonfuneral.com
