Barton Charles "June Bug" McAbee, 70, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 12, 2019. He was preceded by his father, Barton C. McAbee, Sr.; mother, Helen Patterson; brothers, Michael McAbee and Bill Downey; sisters, Rebecca Smith, Barbara "Susie" McAbee, Helen Callaway, and Linda McAbee.
Surviving are his brothers, Richard and David McAbee; sister, Patricia Ann Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Waybun Revival Center 5010 Beason Lane Salem, VA. Pastor Andrew Draughn will officiate. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory. 366-0707
