Michael Brandon Cumbie

Michael Brandon Cumbie, Sr. age 29 of Roanoke passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at his home. 
Michael loved his family especially his three children cherishing every moment he could spend with them. Michael was a former Department Manager at Valley View Walmart and currently employed at Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport. He was a loving and gentle man that would do for others. His kind soul and spirit will be missed by all, as he was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Connie Hicks, Calvin and Phyllis Cumbie.
He is survived by his children, Michael B. Cumbie, Jr., Emily N. Cumbie and Hunter W. Cumbie; mother, Alice M. Ebel (John); father, Calvin R. Cumbie; sisters, Brittany Cumbie and Logan Cumbie; brother, Dakota Cumbie; grandfather, Rufus Hicks. Michael is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he loved dearly.

A celebration service of his life will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Rocky Mount First Church of the Brethren with Pastor John Collins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m.
