Susan K. Bamford

Susan K. Bamford, age 70 passed away suddenly at her home in Daleville, VA, February 27, 2020.
Susan was the daughter of Thomas William and Marjorie Anne Anderson. She was born on May 5, 1949 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Susan lived most of her life in Kansas where she met her loving husband Thomas Andrew “Tom” Bamford Jr. She and Tom recently decided to move to Virginia to be closer to their grandchildren.
Susan was a Registered Nurse for some years, however her most career was at 3M as a Sales Representative – selling medical supplies. She was a dedicated member of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas – even attending the church online and participating from here in Virginia. Susan loved her family and she enjoyed her grandchildren, interior design, flower gardening, traveling in the RV with her husband, and bird watching; her favorite birds were Blue birds and Cardinals.
Susan is survived by her mother: Marjorie Nelson, of Council Bluffs, IA; her husband of 20 years Tom; stepson and wife: John (Nancy) Bamford, of Olathe, KS; stepdaughter and husband: Jamie Bamford (Reggie Reynolds) of Troutville, VA; grandchildren: Rachel, Joey, Logan, and Roland; sister and brother-in-law: Cindy (Dan) Merrim of Council Bluffs, IA; brother and sister-in-law: Scott (Laurie) Anderson of Council Bluffs, IA; and beloved fur-baby: Rosie (Dog).
