Shirley Jean Keller Ransome

Shirley Jean Keller Ransome, 74, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 11, 2020. She was preceded by her mother, Annie Price Keller; father, William J. Keller, and a brother.

Shirley retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Surviving are her children, William Edward Ransome, Jr., Raymond Brian (Stacey) Ransome, James Moses Ransome, and Monica Renee Ransome; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and sisters, Rita Defriece and Barbara Rutledge.

There will be a gathering of friends (no more than ten at a time) from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
