Charles Ray Marshall

Charles Ray Marshall, 52, of Martinsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at his home. He was born on March 13, 1968 in Martinsville, to James Marshall and Earlene Kelly Marshall. He was preceded in death by a sister, Leola Williams and brother, James “Bubba” Marshall.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He had been employed by Hooker Furniture for four years.

In addition to his parents, Charles is survived by a daughter, Jasmine Marshall; sons, Carl Ramey, Joshual Marshall and James Marshall; sisters, Lisa Marshall and Rebecca Marshall; grandmother, Susan Dandridge; grandchildren, Jaida Brown, Messiah Carter and Jayda Collins; uncles, James "aka Blue" Kelly and Tommy Henry Kelly; niece, Michelle Marshall; great-nephew, Treshon Marshall; and girl friend, Sheila Valentine.

The funeral will be on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 4:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Harvey Penn officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
