Jackie Wayne Wilson, 61, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at SOVAH Health of Danville. He was born July 26, 1959, in Pittsylvania County to the late Jack A. Wilson and the late Cornelia Mars. He had been employed by Dan River Mills for 15 years. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers football and San Antonio Spurs basketball teams.

Jackie is survived by his sisters, Valene W. Hereford and Priscilla Wilson; and brothers, George and Keith Wilson.

The funeral will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Minister Wally Stephens officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, September 14, 2020, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
