James Edward Manetta

James E. Manetta, 56, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 21, 2019.  He was preceded by his parents, Chuck and Connie Manetta.
James was employed by Watsontown Trucking Company and was an avid motorcyclist.
Surviving are his son, Timothy Manetta; grandson, Wyatt Manetta; sister, Ginny Manetta; girlfriend, Paula Setchel; and beloved K-9 companions, Jake and Trixie.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Angels of Assisi 415 Campbell Avenue SW Roanoke, VA  24016.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road with Pastor Scott Hamilton officiating.  Inurnment  will follow in Fair View Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
