Robert Lee Wright, Jr.

Robert Lee Wright, Jr., 86, of Bedford, VA passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at his residence after a long illness. He was born in Amherst, Va. November 25, 1933 a son of the late Robert Lee Wright, Sr, and Dorothy Tyree Wright. In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Worley Wright. Robert was a veteran who served in the Korean war. He worked as a T.V. repairman and at Centra Maintenance for many years. He is survived by three children, Wanda Thompson (Joe),Terese Wright (Ben), and Robert Lee Wright III; six grandchildren, Scott Thompson (Ashley), Jonathan Thompson (Hannah), Brent, Cheyenne, Heather, Dallas Wright; one Great-grandchild Emmaleigh Thompson; good friend, Harman Davis, and special hospice nurses, Terri Smith, Rhonda. A celebration of life for Robert will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, November 29,2020 at Temple Baptist Church in Madison Heights with Pastor Joe Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers please send contributions to Temple Baptist Church Mission program.
