Norma Jean Price
John 3:16 tells us that “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life”; on Friday, December 11, 2020, Norma Eagle Price, entered into eternal life.
Born in Lynchburg, Va., on August 5, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Peggy Sale and Julian Braxton Eagle. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Norma loved to watch her special pastor on TV on Sunday mornings and especially enjoyed Pastor John’s weekly devotionals on YouTube. She loved the Lord and knew that she was unconditionally loved by Him. Norma had a way of always keeping you straight and laughing all at the same time. No matter what happened, she always had a spark of joy in her heart. Norma touched so many lives and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Wayne Price, Sr.; a son, Richard Wayne Price, Jr. both of Pamplin; three grandson, Zach, Chase, and Colton; and three great-grandchildren, Chevelle, Serenity, and Nova; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Delores and John Flood of Oakville and Sandra and Clark Allen of Appomattox; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger Dale and Wanda Eagle of Appomattox; sister-in-law, Diane Ragland and husband, Robert of Pamplin; and her beloved dog, Bentley Wayne.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Julian Braxton Price and a brother-in-law, Marshall Edward Price.
