Daniel "Danny" Hodges

Daniel “Danny” Clayton Hodges, 77, of Bassett, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021. He was born in Virginia on February 24, 1943 to the late Walter O. Hodges and the late Elva Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Hodges.

Daniel was a member of Mount Hermon Church of the Brethren in Bassett, Virginia.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Susan Winn Hodges, one son, Jimmy Hodges, one daughter, Karen Douglas, a stepson, Matthew Carter (Jinky), four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister, Carol H. Thompson, and a brother, Roger Hodges.

Details regarding the service will be announced on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
